From GTO to Mustang and World's Fair to Movies & TV, EyesOn Design delights on Father's Day.
May 12, 2014, Grosse Pointe Park, MI - The vehicle categories for the 27th annual EyesOn Design Automotive Design Exhibition have been announced. The car show will take place on Father's Day Sunday, June 15, from 10:00am - 4:30pm at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan.
The vehicle categories invited to exhibition at this year's event have been chosen to complement the2014 theme: Automotive Design's Influence on Popular Culture. Design has been the underlying force that has propelled specific cars to become part of our pop culture. These vehicles have influenced how we eat, how we meet, what we wear and what we do in our free time. Songs are sung about them, TV and movies have featured them, books have been written about them. This year's EyesOn Design theme is meant to evoke a nostalgic reflection about cars that have, through their design, affected the popular culture of their day.
The 2014 EyesOn Design week begins with a press preview at the Ford House at 9:30am on Tuesday, June 10 and concludes with the exhibition of more than 300 vehicles on Sunday, June 15.
